I am not going to be pushed around. I’m a guy who knows what he wants and I do not put up with anybody’s bullsh*t. The last thing I need is some careworn protector type barging uninvited into my life and interfering with my plans. His sandy hair and lanky good looks might win over some other guys, but I’m not a romantic; my life is complete just the way it is: sans love. It might look like I’m finding excuses to rub shoulders with him, but I am definitely not...And even if I am, I know it doesn’t mean anything. Besides, I’d never fall for a guy like that.

I have enough to deal with just running after my kid brother and trying to keep him out of trouble. On top of that, I’ve got aspirations! The important thing is to keep my head above water. I can’t let myself drown, daydreaming about the blue-eyed stranger who’s come into my life, as far as I can tell, with the explicit purpose of messing everything up!
